Please read these terms carefully before ordering any products from our website. You should be aware that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you have any questions or feel unsure about any of the content please contact client support before placing an order.

Any transaction you enter into with us through our website is entered into with Bill Ringa Footwear (tradename of Handelsmaatschappij Wetsteijn), our legal entity which owns the Bill Ringa brand and owns and operates this website.

Accessing our website means that you automatically agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any of these, we would advise you to discontinue the use of our site. Our website is provided to you for your personal use only.

These terms will apply to all usage and orders placed on this site. Customers accessing the website will be responsible for compliance with local legislation.

We have made every effort to display the products as accurately as possible but cannot guarantee that the product images you see displayed on your screen are a totally accurate representation of the actual merchandise due among other reasons to the technical difference in monitors or screens you may use.

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that the personal information which you provide when you register as a customer and place an order is true, accurate, current and complete in all aspects, and that you do not impersonate any other person.

We make no warranty that the website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represent the full functionality, accuracy, and reliability of the website.

 

CURRENCY

All prices shown in the website are in EURO currency and inclusive of VAT at 21%.

 

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We offer free shipping to customers in The Netherlands.

For customers from other parts in the world we offer free shipping on all orders of:

  • EUR 175 or more (EU)
  • EUR 250 or more (Rest of Europe)
  • EUR 350 or more (Rest of World)

Please see FAQ for more details on shipping.

If the delivery address is located outside the EU, it is possible that the country in question charges additional levies, such as import tax. We have no influence or control over such levies and can therefore not provide you with further information. You must check yourself if the ordered items can be exported and imported to the country in question and what the costs are, before placing such an order.

When your order has been dispatched we will send you a dispatch confirmation by email. This will include a track and trace code which will allow you to track your order.

We send the items that you have ordered through carriers DHL, DPD or PostNL/Globalpack. If you select home delivery, the place of delivery is deemed to be the shipping/delivery address that you provide in your order. It is important that you give the right address when placing the order. Please note it’s not possible to have your order delivered to a P.O. Box.

If you have provided us with the wrong address or would like to change it, please contact client support within 4 hrs of placing your order. Unfortunately we are unable to change the delivery address after this period of time.

We aim to deliver orders within The Netherlands in 1-2 working days, within EU in 2-7 working days and in 7-19 working days to the rest of the world. However unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee this.

Ownership of the ordered items passes to you as soon as we have received full payment.

We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged shipments. If the items are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know within 14 days, so that we can make a claim against the carrier.

 

PAYMENTS

We offer the payment methods displayed during the checkout process.

Dependent of your country of residence we accept credit cards, iDeal, PayPal, Bancontact, Sofort Banking, KBC/CBC payment button, Belfius Direct Net and ING Home’Pay payments. We may change these payment methods at any time.

All payments are subject to authorization and validation checks done by the payment service provider. In the event that the payment service provider does not, for any reason, authorize or validate your payment, we will cancel your order and notify you thereof.

We are not liable for any transfer or bank charges.

 

SHOPPING

If you wish to place an order, select the desired item, including your foot size and press the “Add to cart” button. When you have finished shopping, click on “my account” respectively on the “check out” button. This starts the payment process. Check your details carefully and enter the address you want your order delivered to.

Once you have placed an order, it will then be confirmed by email. Please check your order and the confirmation thoroughly. It is important that you give a correct and personal email address when you register in order to avoid errors. Please make sure that your SPAM filter does not cause you to not receive our messages.

When placing an order, you have agreed that our terms apply to such order. If you suspect your account is being abused, please contact client support.

 

RETURNS

If you are not 100% satisfied with your items, you can return these within 14 days, counting from the day you received the items. You may open the package and check the contents. However, the items can only be returned when they are completely unused and sent in the original packaging, double boxed. Return costs are for the customer, unless otherwise indicated by us.

Before taking any action, please contact client support with your desire to make use of the return policy. In most cases, we will ask you to clarify your reason(s) for returning your items, so that we can learn from it.

We will reimburse the amount you paid for your purchase with us as soon as possible and within a maximum of 14 days.

If there is a general defect after 14 days of normal usage, please contact client support and we will look for a suitable solution.

In the event that the wrong items have been sent to you, we will refund the amount you paid for your purchase with us. Any costs incurred on your behalf for the return of the wrong items shall also be refunded by us once we have received the items from you.

 

COMPLAINTS

We have made every effort to provide you with the best information, products and service possible. In the case you do have a complaint or any comment to make, please contact client support, clearly explaining the feedback you have. We will handle your complaint or comment as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after we received it.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

This website’s content (including text, design, layout, images, and videos) are protected by copyright and are the property of Bill Ringa Footwear. Any use other than for your own personal and non-commercial use in line with the transactions and communications between you and us is not allowed without our express written consent.

 

LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

We are not liable for any damage you may suffer as a result of using our footwear unless the damage was caused by our intent, gross negligence or wilful recklessness. Furthermore, our liability is strictly limited to the amount of the purchased footwear. We will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever, in any way connected with your use of the website.

 

JURISDICTION

Any transaction you enter into with us is subject to these terms and are subject only to Dutch law.

 

AMENDMENTS TO OUR LEGAL TERMS

We reserve the right to unilaterally amend these terms at any time.

In the event that our terms have been amended, we will give a notice of this by stating on our website that the terms have been amended, thereby indicating the date of such amendments.

You are advised to check on a regular basis if our terms have been amended. Amendments do not apply to orders that were placed before the date of amendment. By placing an order you agree that the latest version of these terms will apply to this.

In the event of any of these terms to be invalid or unenforceable the remainder of these terms will remain in place.
